Processing of Personal Data

We value your privacy. You should feel secure when entrusting us with your personal data. Therefore, we have established this policy. It is based on current data protection legislation and clarifies how we work to safeguard your rights and your privacy.

The purpose of this policy is to inform you about how we process your personal data, what we use it for, who is allowed to share it and under what conditions, and how you can exercise your rights.

We are the Data Controller

Tjärö Drift AB (Tjärö) with corporate identity number 559032-8794, 372 63 Bräkne-Hoby is responsible for the personal data processed about you. Tjärö is therefore the data controller for your personal data.

Why do we process personal data about you?

We process your personal data in order to provide you with our services and products as well as to enable future business relationships based on legitimate interest, i.e., solely to enter into or fulfill an agreement with you as a customer.

What data do we collect about you as a customer?

We strive to minimize the processing of personal data and only collect the data necessary to:

  • provide the service to you as a customer
  • administer our relationship with you as a customer based on an agreement or legitimate interest
  • manage obligations toward you such as disputes, complaints, and
  • enable future business relationships based on legitimate interest.

In order to enter into and fulfill agreements with you, we need information regarding your first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number.

For foreign hotel guests, specific registration requirements apply by law, and Tjärö will collect the personal data required to comply with these legal requirements.

Tjärö does not store this personal data longer than necessary with regard to the purpose for which it was collected, unless otherwise prescribed by law.

We do not obtain access to your personal data in any way other than through your provision of the data to us.

If you have not given us your consent, we do not use your personal data for marketing purposes.

What data do we collect about you as a supplier?

We strive to minimize the processing of personal data and only collect the data necessary to:

  • enable suppliers to provide goods and services to Tjärö
  • administer our relationship with you as a supplier based on an agreement or legitimate interest
  • manage obligations toward you such as in disputes, complaints, and
  • enable future business relationships based on legitimate interest.

Within the framework of the agreement entered into with a supplier, Tjärö may process personal data regarding the supplier’s employees and contact persons in order to utilize goods or services. The personal data processed includes name, email address, phone number, and job title, if applicable.

Tjärö does not store this personal data longer than necessary with regard to the purpose for which the personal data was collected, unless otherwise prescribed by law.

Cookies

When you visit Tjärö’s website, cookies are saved on your computer to enable all functions on the website. You can choose to refuse cookies by adjusting your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the page. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser and are not stored on your device over a longer period. Through Google Analytics, permanent cookies are saved for up to two years.

How do we protect your personal data?

Please note that we may not be able to perform our services for you if you request to have your personal data erased.
