Rules for the guest harbor

Hello and welcome to Tjärö! In order to stay in our harbor, the following rules must be followed:

1. Boats may not be left moored unattended/ unmanned over night.
2. Docking is made at your own risk. Tjärö is not responsible for damages or losses made by guest boats or their crews.
3. Harbor fee is paid as soon as possible in the reception at the beginning of the pier. You receive a receipt after paying.
4. The guests in the harbor shall hold the pier free from things such as chair, grills, toys, cables etc. The only exception is stools or ladders used to board the boats.
5. The speed limit within the harbor area is 3 knots to minimize wake.
6. Idling, playing, and reckless driving with small boats are prohibited in the harbor and the harbor area.
7. Boat toilets with direct discharge into the water may not be used in the harbor.
8. Lighting a fire is permitted only at designated fire sites. Ask our staff for information about the nearest fire site.
9. Grills may not be used on the pier but can be placed on designated areas on land.
10. Common areas such as kitchen, toilets, showers etc shall be kept in a good condition.
11. Connecting to the power outlets on the pier is made at your own risk.
12. Drinkable tap water can be found on the pier and by the reception. Make sure to close the tap after use.
13. Garbage is disposed of in the right containers in the garbage station next to the service building.
14. The volume from music and TV must not disturb other guests. The harbor is expected to be silent after 11 PM.
15. Rules on other signs in the harbor area must also be followed.
16. If the rules of conduct are not followed and the situation is not rectified immediately upon a request from staff, they may turn the boat away, even if the fee has been paid.
17. At the event of unauthorized or unsafe mooring, the boat may be moved by the staff at Tjärö.
